1969 1970 Mustang Shelby Cougar Cowl Panel Support Foam Pad Pair

This is a set of foam rubber cowl support pads for 1969 and 1970 Ford Mustang, Cougars and Shelbys. These pads were never sold as a service part by Ford. These pads are installed under the cowl panel to support the broad flat areas of the upper top cowl panel. Without these rubber pads your cowl panel will not fit snug next to the lower windshield stainless trim. See pictures with the pads circled in red for an idea on the install location of these pads.

The pads are die-cut from a firm closed-cell black neoprene sponge rubber material that matches the original material used by Ford. A "peel and stick" adhesive has been applied to one face of the pad for easy installation.

Tip: Before peeling off the backing paper you may want to experiment with the exact location of the pad until your cowl fits perfectly.
